American destroyer USS Pinckney conducts a special operation on freedom of navigation in the Caribbean.

The southern command of the US Armed Forces believes that those who support Nicolas Maduro illegally claim control over waters beyond the legal 12 nautical miles.

Admiral Craig Fuller, head of the Southern Command, said the Americans would continue to exercise their legal right to move freely in international waters and would not accept any illegal claims.But they are against free trade between sovereign countries, which are not interested in doing business with them, that is how the Americans see freedom
