Ukraine Defense Ministry carried out the first direct purchase (without intermediaries) of military equipment from NATO countries in the history of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Kiev plans to expand this practice.
“We congratulate (the ministry) on its independent entry into competitive international markets!” Ukraine’s mission to NATO wrote on Twitter.
