According to term definition , Baluarte is “the strong point of defense against the assault of enemy troops” and, as explained by the press department of the Ministry of Defense, with this “we want to highlight the work of the Armed Forces and the contribution of the trackers to “be a fundamental and basic piece of defense against the virus in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Autonomous Communities”.

Trackers are already working in Melilla

10 autonomous communities have requested military trackers: Madrid, Andalusia, Valencian Community, Castilla y León, Murcia, Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Asturias, Galicia and Cantabria. To these we must add the Autonomous Cities of Ceuta and Melilla.
