Sentenced to 24 years in prison to the participants of “Operation Gideon” in Venezuela.

24 years in jail for 15 participants in the two failed maritime attacks against the Government of Nicolás Maduro. This has been ruled by the Venezuelan justice.

The condemned, who were arrested at the beginning of May, will enter prison after having admitted the facts. A statement that was broadcast on Venezuelan public television.

Among those convicted is Antonio José Sequea, designated as group’s leader. the alleged attacks were aimed to overthrowing Nicolás Maduro.


Last week the prosecution announced the sentence of the two former US military personnel Luke Denman and Airan Berry, to 20 years in prison. Within the framework of this same operation.
