Russia: Large-scale missile drills take place in Astrakhan

The Russian S-400 Triumf missile system was tested at the Kapustin Yar testing range in the region of Astrakhan, on Thursday. According to the Russian Ministry of Defence, during the drills, the S-400 anti-air missile located a simulated “Kaban” tactical missile, impacting it at an altitude of 15 kilometres. Military personnel were reportedly retrained at the Anti-Aircraft Missile Forces Training Center of the Military Academy of Aerospace Defense in the Leningrad Region.
