A drug plane with a US registration, N104VV, was located and disabled this weekend by the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), in the Caño Amarillo sector of the Catatumbo municipality of Zulia state.
The Minister for Defense, G / C Vladimir Padrino López, reported that it was destroyed in a clandestine airstrip that had been dynamited and disabled by the Venezuelan public forces, according to La Tabla, on its account on the social media @latablablog.
According to the source, a truck, a motorcycle and 25 thousand liters of Jet A1 aviation fuel were also located on the site. The aircraft is part of the fleet of “narcojets” that transports cocaine processed in Colombia and is transported to Mexico and then to the United States.
The most recent public record of the destroyed jet, a Gulfstream 2SP, was in Cancun last February, according to @skippyscage.
