The US Department of Defense publishes footage of today’s tests of Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile at Vandenberg AFB in California.

Air Force Global Strike Command says the launch is a test to determine the weapon system’s effectiveness, readiness, and accuracy.

It was postponed on Wednesday, Oct. 28 due to adverse weather conditions at the target area downrange.

The most recent Minuteman III launch from Vandenberg Air Force Base was in the beginning of September.
