Iván Márquez, head of the FARC negotiating team in the Havana Peace Agreement, reappeared in a new video uploaded to a YouTube channel, where he expressed his support President Iván Duque removal from office, proposed by the senator Roy Barreras.

“We’re going for the revocation of Duque’s mandate. If we unite, we can achieve it, ”said Márquez, who is a fugitive from justice after announcing at August 2019, in a video along other FARC dissidents, such as Jesús Santrich and El Paisa, his return to weapons.

During the video, Márquez doesn’t mention the name of Roy Barreras, but the senator was the only one to commit since October last year to carry out a referendum to revoke the president and is the main promoter of the citizen participation mechanism.
