Four men, presumably of Colombian nationality, were killed during a confrontation with agents of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb) in the La Cochinera sector, Ciudad Bolívar (Bol), according to reports obtained on military premises.

The military troops were on Friday making a deployment derived from the Macizo Guayanés operation, aimed at fighting armed groups. During the incursion, they clashed with uniformed members of the military who carried long weapons. And it is there that the four men, whose identity is in the process of being verified, were killed.

At the site of the incident, the military collected two AR-15 assault rifles, a Tavol 5.565mm assault rifle, four rifle magazines containing 38 rounds, a Glock 9mm pistol and a Taurus revolver. They also located three cell phones, three military vests and a Toyota Hilux pickup.
