The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) will be activated to guarantee and safeguard electoral simulation of the parliamentarians it’s will take place next Sunday, October 25, said the head of the Strategic Operational Command (Ceofanb), Remigio Ceballos.

“The Armed Forces are activated to guarantee this Sunday 25th the electoral simulation, which will be carried out in 381 voting centers,” Ceballos said through the Venezuelan State Television channel.

The Ceofanb commander said that they will be deployed in 945 voting station , so citizens will be able to use the voting machines as part of the simulation for December 6 elections.

«The National Armed Forces, in coordination with all citizen security bodies, we will be very vigilant with the fulfillment of all tasks that we have in the Electoral Processes Law, article five, which states that we must protect infrastructure electoral, voters protection, and the voting process itself, “he said.

Ceballos reiterated that the FANB will guarantee the exercise of constitutional right and sovereignty in Venezuela, as he said that they will not accept any type of foreign interference.

In Venezuela, 20,710,421 citizens are called to vote to elect 277 deputies to the National Assembly (unicameral parliament).
