Faced with capitalist system’s collapse, Venezuela launches the Simón Bolívar Institute for Peace and Solidarity among Peoples.

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, officially founded the Simón Bolívar Institute (ISB) for Peace and Solidarity among Peoples, an initiative through leaders of the political, intellectual, academic and social movements fly the Bolivarian flags of solidarity and peace in the fight for the great justice causes of the world

The ceremony, held this Sunday through the YouTube platform, was in charge by Jorge Arreaza, foreign affairs minister.

The National President sent his greetings and his solidarity embrace to the participants, among whom was the Bolivian indigenous leader Evo Morales; Joao Pedro Esteriles, Román Migus, Roger Warters, “here are people from various countries, from all continents including Gana, Congo, Tunisia, Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, Mozambique, South Africa, United Kingdom, France, Belgium, Italy, United States, Puetro Rico, Egypt, Canada, Cuba, India, Colombia ”.

“Today we lost a great American friend Kevin Zeese, one of the defenders of the Venezuelan embassy in the US Honor and glory for his bravery, love and solidarity,” said the Head of State.

Likewise, he said, “I ask for the support of the solidarity movements, of Venezuela’s friends to go and take the truth of the country around the world, and with the truth of Venezuela win Peace, Sovereignty, Independence and respect for our people. We are creating a special platform for the solidarity and peace of the peoples ”.

In the activity, Arreaza was accompanied by the president of the Simón Bolívar Institute for Peace and Solidarity among Peoples, Carlos Ron.

The Chancellor reported that more than 106 special guests had gathered to speak about the role and importance of Simón Bolívar in his struggles, here in the 21st century, at this time still of a pandemic: “this Institute is yours, it belongs to the peoples of the world, we want them to use it as their own, for solidarity, the struggle of the peoples of the world need solidarity. From Venezuela we stand in solidarity with the peoples of the world ”.

The president of the Simón Bolívar Institute for Peace and Solidarity among Peoples, Carlos Ron, began the launch activity: “We see how imperialism seeks all the resources to maintain its hegemony”, regarding the 205 years since the publication of the Jamaica Letter.

“Faced with the capitalist system’s collapse , a new model has to emerge, one that is based on solidarity for the organization of peoples, that guarantees peace, a sustainable planet,” he warned.

Then he asked himself “what does Bolívar’s thought and action represent today?” And he replied: “Emancipation, self-determination, anti-colonialism, unity, popular democracy, a government of the peoples. Here you have a people that knows about their struggles, that recognizes and shares them ”.

He recalled the greatest of all Bolivarians, Commander Hugo Chávez said “the future of the multipolar world resides in us, in the majority peoples of the planet to defend ourselves from the new colonialism and achieve the balance of the universe.”

It also represents a space for diplomacy, training, research, dissemination, debate on world main causes , strengthening of international relations, and on peace.

Among its main attributions are:

• Promote the Latin American union for the independence of our continent.

• Promote and articulate the solidarity of Venezuela with the world, the great causes and struggles of the peoples.

• Promote the defense of the peoples against imperialism aggressions , colonialism and fascism, in favor of peace, against economic blockades and foreign non-interference.

• Promote the defense of peace, multilateralism and international law.

• Promote international agenda for the exchange of experiences among peoples.

• Generate and strengthen content and communication skills to counter the negative matrices to the Bolivarian project in a truthful way.

• Accompany and promote scientific exchange initiatives between peoples.
