US President Donald Trump announced the Abu Bakr Bagdadi death in a special operation by US forces in northwestern Syria. According to the president, the ISIS leader detonated a suicide vest after finishing cornered in a tunnel.
Trump said Baghdadi, 48, had “spent his last moments in utter fear, in total panic and dread” as a US military dog pursued him and three of his children down a dead-end tunnel.
Footage of the US special forces raid on Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi’s Syrian compound reportedly consisted of overhead surveillance footage and no audio, prompting questions over the extent of the dramatic licence taken by Donald Trump in describing the final moments of one of the most wanted terrorists in the world.
The president said Baghdadi’s body was mutilated because explosion, but analysis DNA results , carried out on the site, confirmed the identity of the deceased…
In addition, it was reported the leader’s remains were transferred from Syria to an American base in Iraq and then buried.
The US national security adviser, Robert O’Brien, told the Meet the Press show that Baghdadi’s remains, which were said to have been mutilated by the explosion, would likely be disposed of at sea.
Asked if the body would be handled in the same way as Osama bin Laden’s, O’Brien said: “I would expect that to be the case.”
The top US officials refused to release operation videos or photographs of their special forces at the moment, as well as to present some other evidence of Baghdadi’s death.
However, the UN monitoring mission still cannot confirm the elimination of the ISIS terrorist group leader, banned in Russia and other countries.
The Russian defense Ministry also questioned US operation against ISIS leader.
Meanwhile ISIS has not yet confirmed al Baghdadi’s death, IS/media units continue to challenge US and in this poster they threaten President Trump depicting him beheaded. Our sources confirm IS is in big difficulty for killing 65% of IS heads.
