Ethiopian Armed Forces occupy Tigray airport

Ethiopian state media reported the successful conduct of the Ethiopian Armed Forces’ military operation against the Popular Front for the Liberation of Tigray (PNLF), which led to the transfer of Homer Airport to the army. The airport near the Sudanese border was used as an important point of defense in the war against government forces. Also, media reports of many people surrendering to NFOT prison. NFOT itself has stated that the airport is still under its control, but objective evidence suggests that this is most likely not the case. Thus, the Ethiopian Armed Forces are now facing the goal of directly seizing the strategically important Homer.
