Ethiopian Air Force MiG-23 fighter shot down and pilot captured

Opposition forces in the Tygrai region managed to shoot down an Ethiopian Air Force MiG-23 fighter and capture the pilot.

This is the first combat loss of aircraft by government forces during the military operation.
