The Strategic Operational Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (CEOFANB) of Venezuela denounced the presence of an unmanned aircraft (drone) that flew over Paraguana Refinery Complex (CRP) Falcón state.
As indicated, around 02:00 (local time) last Tuesday, the device was captured by members of the FANB, who said that the event “represents a threat to the strategic interests of the nation and Venezuelan people.”

In addition, he said the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (SEBIN) and General Directorate of Military Counterintelligence will guard the facilities CRP as part of the control and defense measures.
The authorities are unaware of the origin of the spy drone, but stressed the incident occurs a few days after the country’s opposition called for demonstrations and acts of violence.
