CIA boast about ARMING the Afghan Mujahideen – militants who now KILL US troops

The CIA have been BLASTED for a tweet bragging about SUPPLYING covert arm supplies to the Mujahideen who eventually morphed into the Taliban.

The agency boasted about arming “Afghan guerrillas” with FIM-92 stinger missile launchers to destroy “helicopter gunships deployed by the Soviets” – in a covert mission called Operation Cyclone.

The Taliban have been fighting with the US for nearly two decades. Hilary Clinton admitted in 2010 that “the people we are fighting today, we funded 20 years ago” adding that arming JIHADISTS sounded “like a good idea” at the time.
