The Popular Unity Candidacy party (CUP) has reported that its deputy for Girona and former mayor of Celrà (Girona), Dani Cornellà, has allegedly been attacked by Mossos agents in the Girona protest in support of Pablo Hasèl ” when he tried to dialogue “due to the arrest of a young man. Cornellà has assured that he will report what he considers a police attack.
“The CUP deputy Dani Cornellà has suffered a totally unjustified aggression by the Mossos d’Esquadra today in Girona. Dani Cornellà tried to mediate during the arrest of a protester. Enough of police attacks,” the CUP wrote in a tweet .
In a video released by the party on its Twitter account, the protesters ask for help in the face of the arrest of a young man, who is on the ground allegedly reduced by a mosso: the boy yells “help me”.
