2009 footage of a NATO military base in the Afghan province of Uruzgan, Australian soldiers scoff

The British The Guardian publishes footage of 2009 from a NATO military base in the Afghan province of Uruzgan, where Australian special forces officers (at least one of whom are active) drink beer and pose with a prosthetic leg, which they took from the body of the Taliban they killed.
The publication follows a report by a special investigative team on the targeted killings of local residents by the Australian military in 39 episodes.
According to the newspaper, at least 25 active and former military personnel were involved in such episodes.
One alleged incident, heavily edited in the report, is described as “arguably the most infamous episode in Australian military history.”
